How do tenants apply to rent a property?
Tenants can apply to rent from the viewing confirmation page or from the property listing on your website.
You can find the application as follows:
- Go to the Letting tab and click on the Tenancy Applications
- Click on the start date to see the details of the the application
Review the Application
Review the application to assess the tenant's is suitability to rent the property.
The application includes the tenant's contact details, address, salary, employment and a rent affordbility calculation.
You can also check a tenant's credit history and validate their identity in seconds by clicking on the Get Tenant Credit Check button.
If the tenant is suitable, you can Accept the application and quickly create the tenancy.
If they are not suitable, you can Decline the application.
Tenant Credit Checks
A Tenant Credit Check allows you to quickly check a tenant's credit history and verify their identity. The checks are powered by Equifax and include:
- Credit Score
- Identity and Residency Checks
- Electoral Roll Checks
- Alerts, Aliases and Financial Associates
- Bankrupty and Insolvency Checks
- County Court Judgements
- Checks on Previous and Linked Addresses
