How do I remove headers and footers when printing documents?

When you print a document you may notice the web address, page number and other unwanted details appearing on the header and footer of your document.

If so you will need to remove the headers and footers in your web browser print settings.

Google Chrome

  1. Click the top right hand menu button
  2. Choose Print then on the left hand side click 'More Settings'
  3. Make sure 'Headers and Footers' are not ticked

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click the top right hand menu button
  2. Choose Print > Page Setup (top left) > Margins & Header/Footer
  3. Under 'Headers & Footers' make sure all six are empty

Internet Explorer

  1. Click the cog in the top right hand corner
  2. Choose Print > Page Setup
  3. Under 'Headers and Footers' make sure all six are set to empty
