How Do I Interpret a Credit Report and Identity Check?
A Credit Report and Identity Check delivers an easy to understand set of indicators as to the existence and authenticity of an individual and all through a single search.
Credit Report
Credit Score
The credit score is a numerical score between 0 and 500. It may be interpreted as follows:
- 0-99 - Very High Risk - we do not recommend you consider this tenant
- 100-199 - High Risk - could be a suitable tenant with extra protections such as a guarantor
- 200-299 - Moderate Risk - may be a suitable tenant with extra protections such as a guarantor
- 300-399 - Low Risk - likely to a suitable tenant
- 400-500 - Very Low Risk - likely to be a good tenant
Aliases
Names identified as aliases of the subject.
Associates
Details of financial associates of the subject.
Linked Addresses
A list of addresses linked to the individual will also be included in the AML Check. You can click through to see more information on the address such as Electoral Roll details.
Electoral Roll
Details of the individual and associates on the electoral roll at the address will be included if there are any matches.
Court and Insolvency Information
Details of any bankruptcies, insolvencies or County Court Judgments.
Notices of Correction
Statements to explain potentially misleading information.
Identity Check
The results are delivered through an easy to understand Pass/Refer outcome and three digit profile.
The minimum requirement for a Pass is:
- 2 Residency matches
- 1 Identity match and
- 0 Alerts
Anything less will result in a Refer outcome which suggest that you should obtain more information such as photographic identification.
